“To err is human, to forgive is divine.” Based on this quote, the world celebrated the days of forgiveness. These are the times where we need peace; we have enough strife all over the world.
The weird events that took place in the United States alone stirred up great disturbances among one another. Great leaders sacrificed their life and strived to establish peace in the county. Served prison time for decades to resolve issues of racism, white supremacy.
Today they are ruling more than ever in the richest country, the county which supposedly an example to all other countries. Today its respect is trashed by a single person in the name of gun violence with a rifle in his hand killing tens of people all year long. Those single people multiplied today with one as inspiration.
We need to use our inspiration for good. We should let go of our differences, come forward to forgive each other and stand united. Not a one-man duty. As responsible citizens burn with unending fire, we should resolve any differences, misunderstandings around you. Listen, the enemy is restless, and so should you. The time to stay calm, silent has come to an end. Start within you then reach for your surroundings.
Become leaders to your own people. Train them to be leaders to the possible extent so that they could go and make more leaders.
If we cannot act on the issue in our own homes and neighbourhoods, we are never going to make real change that we urge to see.
August celebrates forgiveness days on two different days. The world has committed to celebrate these days to bring people together, to establish peace, to forgive each other and celebrate one another. On this event, let us remember what’s more important to us, piece or rivalry.
Solve the hate within yourself then you will be able to put an end to it in others as well. Rise up, Oh! Men and Women, we still have got a chance to establish change all around us as change starts from within.
