The heart of trust

The heart of trust

The heart fears those things the eyes can't proof. A trustworthy person isn't known at sight. Those who want to be trusted often lament why there has been a lack of trust in today's world. Yet others are scared over who can be trusted.

Personal experiences can show how many failed expectations we do have up until now. Business partners have betrayed trust. Governments have failed the confidence given to them by their subjects. Religious groups have made the faith of many to cast doubts on what's right just because the men don't practice what they preach. Then we have that from romantic love seekers. Lovers have been the most read story of failure with trust. The hurt produced by a failed attempt at love seems to hurt more than any other set of betrayal of trust. Breach of trust is an everyday event.

If it isn't happening to you now then trust that it is having its way with the person near you. Everyone has his/her story to tell on a trust that was disappointed. The heart of trust, therefore, is in the truth. Only when there is truth in the inward part can we be assured of a community of humans who will believe one another and as such have a chance at trusting.

Remember, truth cannot fail. What the soil is to the seed is what truth is to trust, trust grows on truth. No one can stand the test of being trusted and get to succeed at it without being truthful to self-first. Mere words of the lips don't define the truth that should be in it.

The heart tells the truth. Out of the abundance of the heart shall the mouth speak. The heart will judge the words on the lips. Here is where conscience comes in. But who can see into the heart of man? Will you ever know when the words are of the heart? A tough question that is!
