AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a buzzword today in almost every area of technology.
Artificial intelligence can be defined as an act, performed by a machine, system or application for any operation or process. We can develop the level of that intelligence in comparison with a simple human.
It’s an emerging technology which is giving a new structure to the ‘world.’ Here ‘world’ means our day to day life as well as extreme areas of industries, technologies, and many other sectors.
The word artificial intelligence was first used in the 1950s; post Second World War technology across developing countries was taking shape. All these were mainly oriented to hardcore, mechanical, electronic areas.
In the last 30-40 years, software technology has taken charge of all the sectors.
More specifically last 10-15 years, industrial, official and routine processes are now automated, in order to make data, technology, and change driven principle to run smoothly. We use AI in our daily life. Unwanted emails are going into the spam folder; it’s a simple type of AI.
If we listen to one or two songs online, the next time we use the same app, it will start suggesting more songs, based on our previous listening. It starts filtering by mood, artists, music type, etc. before giving the list. Again, it a basic format of AI.
AI is essential and expected to bring solutions in various tasks which involve complex orientation, time taking, mundane and out of human capacity. Currently, work and research of AI are implemented in day to day life across every sector of life.
Space activities, deep ocean operations, extreme conditions, calamities, hard industrial processes are the few sectors where we are using and trying to implement more and more AI enabled applications as human capacities are meeting limitations to perform.
AI is independently giving many advantages to human life, but when it comes in combination with other emerging technologies like IoT (Internet of Things), it will do the miracles.
Finance, emergency services, healthcare, and many other sectors are also expecting AI tools for analytics, process automation, securities, alert generations, and transactions.
With the entry of technology, automation and now AI, people are scared about job loss, but when there is something new comes, it brings new horizon of opportunities. What we need to do is to stay updated and upgraded.
Technology is there to bring ease in human’s life activities, but AI is going one step ahead to bring more correct solutions.
