It is unimaginable to think a fellow black man will go out of his or her way to attack a fellow black person, due to hatred of job insecurity and inferiority complex. Are the years of slavery the black race all went through not enough to change the South African mentality? I stand to be corrected; I feel they are still stuck in the memories of the past.
The recent attack on the black foreigners in South Africa, most especially Nigerians, is unspeakable, brutal and inhumane. To make matters worse, this latest attack in 2019 on foreigners was not only carried out by the local citizens, but the South African police were also equally involved in the brutality. No wonder the deputy police minister (Bongani Mkongi) once questioned why 80% foreigners occupy the Hillbrow Johannesburg.
If you feel you have too many foreigners in your country, why don't deport them if you are unhappy seeing them? Is beating, stoning, burning and killing of human being the solution to the problem? The videos of the recent attacks carried out on foreigners in South Africa are worse than a horror movie.
It is even more alarming to find out that the so-called local South African citizen carrying out these attacks are uneducated and mostly illiterate. So, if you don't have the right qualifications to carry the task, how can the jobs be given to you? A recent survey has also confirmed the extent of laziness that exists among these local South Africans.
I will conclude by saying that if the leaders of South Africa don't tackle these issues as soon as possible, I feel the country is heading for destruction. I do not see a way South Africa will survive against all the black countries in Africa. And for the uneducated, lazy South African citizens, I encourage you to get busy with a decent job, and if you feel you need the jobs you so want for yourselves, it's not too late to go back to school.
